Kirkham & Wesham Cricket Club is in Lancashire about half way between Preston & Blackpool The club's home ground is in Woodlands Avenue, Kirkham
The club was founded in 1830, they were founder members of and are the second oldest club, after Fylde CC, in the Moore & Smalley Palace Shield. They have played on the present ground for over 100 years 2002 was the centenary of the Palace Shield which was re-founded after World War I in the Railway Hotel a few hundred yards from Kirkham's ground. League meetings are usually held in Kirkham's clubhouse.
Kirkham & Wesham have teams in Divisions 2 and 4 on Saturdays, a team in the Sunday League a team in the twenty20 competition which is played on wednesday or thursday evenings with the semi-finals and final on a Sunday and an under 13 team
